Deworming:

At West Wind Stables, we do our best to maintain consistent and effective parasite control and prevent disease. A haphazard deworming program puts him or her at risk for increased exposure to parasite eggs and larvae. Our deworming program breaks the cycle primarily by killing adult worms before they lay eggs in your horse's intestines. By reducing the number of eggs, it'll minimize his exposure to parasites.

Staying consistent ensures that all of our boarders are kept up to date and dewormed every 60 days. A consistent deworming program not only is effective against parasite infestation, but also allows us to offer peace of mind and convenience for you. Instead of shopping for dewormers, we take care of the fuss for you, and add your deworming costs to your monthly statement. If rotational deworming isn't the right fit for your horse, we also have several daily dewormers available that go right into his or her daily diet.

Feeding and Nutrition:

At West Wind Stables, we take extra care to be sure that your horse gets the proper nutrition for his or her own unique needs. Our indoor horses are fed top quality grain twice daily, and our herds are carefully selected to guarantee that your horse is not getting too much or too little. Outdoor horses are fed grain once a day. If you need your outdoor horse on any supplements you must come out and feed them or our staff will do it but there will be a added charge.

Stalled horse can be fed supplements free of charge but the owner must supply the supplement.
