Feeding and Nutrition

At West Wind Stables, we take extra care to be sure that your horse gets the proper nutrition for his or her own unique needs. Our outdoor horses are fed Nutrena Safe Choice twice daily, and our herds are carefully selected to guarantee that your horse is not getting too much or too little. Stalled horses can be fed your choice of Safe Choice or Compete, which is formulated to give you higher energy for a competing performance horse.

If your horse has unique digestive needs, there's no need to go supplement shopping. We offer an array of supplements available at an additional cost, which we can incorporate into your horse's diet and conveniently put directly onto your monthly statement.* Supplements available include Nutrena Empower, Vita Flex, Sand Clear, Grow-Colt, and many, many more. At West Wind Stables, we can tailor your horse's feeding program to his or her own unique digestive needs.

*Feed supplements are only available to horses that are on stall board at this time.
